Outreach

Prison Ministry

We minister regularly in ten state prisons and work releases throughout our area (includes men's and women's prisons). We provide various forms of ministry consisting of Chapel, Bible School and Faith Honor Dorms.

Youth Campuses

Our outreach teams minister weekly to the boys and girls at Chalkville Youth Services Campus. We also minister weekly at the Alabama Boys' Home. Our 2-3 member teams teach and minister to these young people demonstrating the love of God and the victory that is in Jesus Christ.

Nursing Homes

We currently minister in five nursing homes and retirement centers on a weekly basis. We have musicians who minister vocally and instrumentally, the Word of God is taught and time is spent with the residents individually. The response is wonderful as these people receive the love of God shown to them.

Overall

We minister in 90-100 meetings each month, resulting in hundreds of decisions being made as people hear the uncompromised teaching of the Word of God.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Outreach Ministry is to take the Word of God in Spirit and power to those in prisons, youth facilities, nursing homes and other places where people cannot freely attend church or hear teaching of the Word of God; that as the Word is preached among them, the light of God’s Word will produce life and liberty within them, changing them from glory to glory. Receiving the truth of God’s Word, their faith will not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. The truth and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ supplies the needs of the people spiritually, physically and emotionally, thereby affecting change within them that will be manifested outwardly in their actions, speech and manner of life.

Luke 4:18-19 the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
